Hello Harry,

The buckle looks to me to be an late unmarked Overhoff. The belt looks fine but I can't say if the writing is authentic or not. Doesn't appear to be stamped SS waffen on the belt so it wasn't issued piece.

Look to hear from others and read their comments.

Thanks for all the input guys! It is supposedly a vet bringback that has been together since the war. That's the story anyway...

Absolutely what expected. Anything else (marked RZM/SS belt) with this late war Overhoff buckle would have been suspect. Hand writting is also what expected and does not bother me.
