HJ buckles with incorrect blue RZM tax stamps...please read

    Hello
I know we have posted images and talked about HJ buckles with blue adhesive affixed RZM tax stamps.. here is a link to a few pics and a short discussion http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...hlight=rzm+tag I have heard alot of people talk about how they believe they were post war applied SA tags.. I have always kept the possibility open that they were used as substitutes when the propper red tags were out of stock... tonight I purchased a buckle which I believe proves this point..it is a silver painted steel HJ marked M5/276 it has a BLUE rzm tag affixed over the prong ..on the tax stamp there is an additional blue ink stamp which reads M4/115!! (same maker ..anyway this should prove that these tags were substituted in the factory and that they are not fake just by existance! I will post pics tomorrow..Chad

CHIRP CHIRP...CHIRP CHIRP (the sound of crickets in the surrounding silence) no one has any comments?? I am really surprised that nobody has added anything to this...up to now any posting of an HJ with a blue RZM tax stamp was met with suspicion or more questions than answers....

                      Chad,

Great speciman of a buckle. I realize it is difficult to tell but does the tag look like it was originally applied? If yes, then I feel your analysis has merit. I have nothing that could deny nor confirm your findings.

yes, I believe the tag was originally applied.. I am still in shock as to the lack of opinions on this subject.. the last time I saw someone post an Hj with a blue tag, alot of people chimed in about how they didnt believe the tags to be period, or that they should be viewed with suspicion, but noone is commenting at all this time.. I want people to speak their mind, good , bad or indifferent.. just suprised..that all..Chad

                            Chad,

Silence in most circles assumes agreement.

Come on folks - let's give the man some feedback!!!

thanks I think maybe I have posted too many youth buckles lately and everyone is bored to death by my incessant HJ and DJ postings
