    SA buckle, but original?

    Hello,

    I have a question about this buckle, although it is repaired it looks good IMO. But I can't say this is my speciality, therefor I wished to have some of your opinions.

    I have taken the liberty of adjusting the image a little to the obverse of the buckle, in order that the roundel detail may be seen more clearly.

    The SA buckle that you have shown looks quite original, to myself at least.

    A well documented design of eagle and swastika and let me know if you would like some images of similar roundel SA buckles.

    As you so rightly confirm though, the pin shroud and claw area have at some time been repaired, although in my opinion, it does not overly detract from the buckle per se.
