hi,my name is Andreas and im a fairly new member..i would just like to say thanks to this wonderful website which has tought me so much about buckles and all ww2 things in generall as fakes are the biggest problem when collecting as you know...but reading all the threads has made me asmarter collecter that is not making mistakes like before i found this website..A SPECIAL THANKS TO LARS FOR HIS INVALUABLE HELP AND INFORMATION!! he also confirmed my belt and buckle as original(i dont thnk the belt fits the buckle but its an original combat belt from ww2 that has regrettably been shortend.. the bguckle has had the swasticka turned into a simple cross as the 4 ends of the swastica were filede off??but besides this it is a very nice aluminium belt buckle and who would habe thought that you can find something like this on ebay for 35 euros(plus shipping 41 from austria)thankyou to the seller as i cannot find his email to thank him..i cannot post fotos as im a new member but thanks to the forum for the invaluable wisdom!!
