Nickle silver DJ - conversion to HJ

Here is a slightly odd photo merge in relation to a DJ conversion to a HJ.

I think that the RZM U.E. 72 (Cramer) DJ buckle in solid nickle silver and with a slightly under size Sig-Rune, is somewhat unusual in isolation. The DJ buckle is more often than not, plated brass. Here however are two of the same solid nickle silver DJ's, however one has benefited from a period conversion, to a HJ buckle.

that nickel silver DJ is bringing tears to my eyes!! that buckle has to be quite rare in that material..anyone else have any solid nickel silver DJ buckles??? as David said most are nickel over brass..and there are somme nickel over steel as well..but solid nickel !! wow what a beauty and kirby..what a very nice HJ/DJ..love the marking..would love to have both of those buckles safe and cozy at my house Chad
