I've changed the prongs.. what a happy coincidence that I've had Originla prongs from a reichswehr buckle

After all I filled out the small holes with liquid zinc
and afterwards I painted it very carefully with
synthetic resin varnish

than the buckle must look authentic old..and it got carrying traces.

I know, that a lot of you would be shake head about this measures..but I think the result is OK..and if you keep this buckle in your hand...you'll never believe that's a ground dug..
