    Lehmann Heer buckle curious stamp

Hello, today I've got this wonderful Lehmann Heer buckle made 1939. But if you look at the front of the buckle..you'll see that the eagle is crooked to the right side. on the back, you'll see it again..the eagle is double stamped... Nevertheless, I think it is a nice buckle..and the maker is not so frequent like Sieper

Hi Ben, have a look at my Lehmann 1938' buckle, the backside is not double stamped.

Mmmm yes it is a 39 dated buckle, I wonder how many buckles made in 39 by this company are double stamped?

Nice buckle..the rear is bright and clear, like the 38' buckle.

Maybe that 1939 the press was a little bit tired..and so the qualtiy of the die struck buckles were not so superb like the years before.
