Turnerbund Variants

Thanks to my good friend Marc, I have the opportunity to show you some very nice 30mm and 35mm Turnerbund variants. These buckles were associated with the German Athletic Association with the moto being "Frisch, Froh, Fromm and Frei". Translated in English means "Fresh, Happy, Piouis and Free". Each buckle is unique and very difficult to find in todays market. Despite this buckle not seeing front line type action, it was a popular buckle for all to attain.

WOW!!! beautiful buckles!! I have never seen a one of these before!!! I am used to seeing the 45mm nickel buckle, but these are great!! congrats on your new buckles!! are most of these nickle over steel?? thanks Chad

Hi Chad,

Thanks for your positive comments and yes, all but the first buckle are nickel plated over steel. I have a few Turnerbund buckles of the 45mm but lacked the 40mm, 35mm, and 30mm. Really excited about expanding the collection in these other areas and feel these additions round out this buckle. There are more out there so adding those others will be icing on the cake.
