Heer buckle unknow maker!

Hello Guys,

this little bird is arrived today. In my opinion a very interesting buckle. The maker is HCH. Schwerter Menden . The maker is unknow. I can’t find them nowhere. The design of the buckle is the same like the Dransfeld buckle.It has the same indistinct reverse and the same eagle.Both manufacturer comes from Menden. I think they worked together.

Please post if you have the same buckle!

Hello Heiko,

Although I have nothing to support or argue your statement, I too, feel you are correct in this assessment. Here is my buckle and tab by Schwerter although a bit more tired than yours but still easy enough to identify they both came from the same manufacturer.

Hello Dan,

yes, the same maker and the same year. I don't think that there other years out there because the maker were freqently to see.
