very nice buckle this buckle has a slightly more slanted rune than the "standard" pattern, here are photos of a "standard " pattern by the same maker... is this buckle a new addition to your collection?? Chad

notice the different turn on the ears I assume the buckle is nickel over brass as usual ? Chad

Thankyou for the response and yes, the buckle is mine. Nickle plated brass and as expected. The ear design of the two buckles are indeed quite different, although it is interesting to note the similar positioning of the RZM 36 strike (hand punch or machine punch?) to both buckles.

I believe this to be a Rzm 36 standard pattern, similar to Chads, but with a different foot.

I can make out the rzm and barely the 3 and a 6??Very faint

Larry thanks for sharing your buckle..this is BuN 's footed catch,... it is very recognizable I can spot that catch from a mile away on HJ buckles which are usually marked M4/30
