            A Drgm 36

We have seen and discussed buckles with A DRGM 36 before and as far as i rembember labelled them as fakes.

Quite interesting to read the different dates!

Swastika buckles were used by all parts of the NSDAP, particulary the SA. Mainly seen in the years 1925/26, before the SA buckle with the eagle was "introduced".

Unfortunetly this one is for sure a fake.

It is a horribly difficult scenario when a forum member states and presumably in utmost good faith, that a buckle was secured with a sound provenance, when evidence suggests that it probably was not.

The buckle in my opinion is a fake and I would suggest that any buckle which bears these odd Assmann associated markings, be avoided like the proverbial plague.

As Sven has so rightly mentioned, this happy family of fakes has been discussed before.

If anybody would like to see images of 2 original (hopefully) full face swastika Kampfzeit buckles, then please let me know and I will happily post them.

                  Regards,

                  David
