indeed a nice original one, again late war made by Overhoff.

Your buckle has still silver paint on it, Matthias ones have lost all the finishing : nothing more nothing less......

Hello all and welcome to our Slovenian friends.

Both buckles are original as are all the above buckles.
Please babura 74, look for all the posts on this forum on SS buckles.
JP has made some excellent post in the past on them. Just type SS Overhoff, or 36/42 or 36/43 etc.... You will find all what you desire regarding info and pictures on these buckles.
I think if there is one thing we know by now is how to detect a fake SS buckle !!

Sadly, the question abouth originality of my SS buckles is steal going on and on, on the Slovinian colectors forum, since Babura is moderator of German helmets, buckles and daggers forum there is no way that he woud exepted the truth, he is determent that i have fake buckles and that you guys dont now what are you toking abouth !

I can only say that is very hard to deal with such "smart" moderator !!!

evidently the Slovenian "expert" is not interested in the truth but simply to defend his own opinion and by such way he's not giving a good service to the collectors of your Forum : I'm very sad for it .
As rightly confirmed by Marc, WA's experts are able to distinguish fake buckles from good ones..... .....so up to you where to ask for, in the future !
