Yes, the buckle is original and probably an early piece from Sieper (look at the makers mark in the diamond).

Indeed..looks like the diamond..but that's a unusual place for Sieper`s diamond and also a bit too small..
Inside the diamond are the letters RSL.

Better pics from this place where the "diamond" could be, are necessary.
I've the same model from RS&S also without dots and without a diamond..

i also need glasses as i could not find that diamond anywhere until it was circled more chance of finding diamonds in a heerstack
