2 vgc Heer buckles dated/ MM, one for trade!

hey Guys, Glenn here. I wanted to show you my 2 Heer buckles. the "ESL" I just got last week. I purchased this one thinking it was a field gray paint (as the owner stated it was, He gave a bad pic) but as you can see it is still a nice one. does anyone know who this maker is? I know the other is Christian Theodor Dicke. also wondering if anyone out there has a nice field gray Heer buckle in same shape that is maker marked and dated (19)43. I dont care what the maker is and I dont care which one of mine you are interested in. I just want one of these in a field gray version. if you can help me out please let me know. thanks, Glenn

Hi Glenn,

I know only few examples of 1943 and later dated fieldgrey Heer buckles.
Most of them are grey.

The color of the attached Noelle und hueck buckle is somewhat between fieldgrey and grey. The year of production must be after 1942.

Guido, now thats the shade I want to find. if that was maker marked and dated (19)43! not many of this shade out there dated '43 though, eh? Ben, thanks for that link. although very rare, '43 dated tabs appearently do exist! the quest begins...Glenn
