Nice Postschutz buckle with stamps..

Dear all,

This is a newly found buckle: a nice (and IMO quite rare) German 'Postschutz' buckle made in 1935 by the Noelle & Hueck company. The leather tab has some additional stampings...DRP and Wzb. I guess that DRP stands for Deutsche Reichs Post but what can Wzb mean? All comments are most welcome!

I think your property markings on the tab are for the Deutsches Reichs Post of Wurzburg.

this is a really super buckle!!!

Yes, W******252;rzburg sounds logical.

I have observed the very sharp prongs already on a Reichsheer buckle from the same maker.

If you ever want to go apart with it, I would be interested.

FANtastic buckle! ....and you're right: quite rare! I NEVER see these come up for sale! I wish my example had a leather tab! Yours looks simply perfect! Congrats on this recent pickup!
