Unknown Buckle Badge

Hi all,
I got this Badge and I think its for a Buckle, but dont know which Organisation.
It is real or only a fake? Please let me hear your Opinions.

I am probably wrong, however I have always regarded this buckle as a pure fantasy item. The very distinct and interesting roundel is actually known on various types of both original and fake (predominantly brass) boxes.
