    Estate Buckle

Hello… I found this site while searching for information on a buckle a just purchased. It was with some parts of a WWII US 4th Army uniform (jacket, shirt, ties & hats) I picked up at an estate auction.

Since it was made of aluminum, there was some discussion right away about it possibly being a replica. It was clear that nobody around me was an expert.

So I am asking for your opinion. Thank you.

    Hello...

I saw one of these recently... and it was being advertised as a Kreigsmarine belt buckle.

I would say it's original... My 2 cents worth.

Thank you for all of the information on this buckle! I would have never guessed it to be Kreigsmarine.

I am certainly not an expert on these. Is it inappropriate to ask what the approximate value may be?
