Variation roundels to the two piece RAD

I think that it is good to see a degree of forum interest at the moment, in connection with the "Cinderella" RAD buckle.

One of the problems and unfair stigmas attached to this elegant buckle, is the erroneous assumption that the roundel designs are all exactly the same.

There are however very minor variations.

Attached is a photo merge of 3 private purchase/parade, two piece RAD buckles. The roundel differences are minimal to the point of being pedantically boring. Note however the position of the swastikas and the shape/detail to the spades neck.

Let me know if anybody would like full images of this trio.

Here is a photo-merge in relation to the roundel detail relating to the one piece and die stamped RAD in aluminium.

Top left is 1936 and top right is 1938.

The bottom two are both 1939.

Numerous, albeit minor differences.
