The webbing is soiled, and darkened some; however, from pulling the edges as far back as I can without ripping anything apart, it appears that the material is a lighter tan color.

I have tried to grant your request to see the whole thing. I have only had partial success. It will likely cause the guys to cringe, but remember I have said these things, and many other things in my stuff, were packed away. They are not displayed. The buckles are just chucked into storage boxes, and this is not all of them. I have other, mostly belts with buckles packed away in trunks with other stuff. I can't get to all of my things at the moment, but maybe I can try to dig some more out this coming weekend.....if I get the time to hunt for them. I emptied the box that had more in it and spread them out. I couldn't get far enough away (higher up) to get all in the picture.....so I took about 8 shots of sections of them and tried to put together a panorama of them. It caused some distortion because I didn't use a tripod.....just handheld. I had thought one day I would cut a photo mat and make a black velvet lined shadow box frame for them like I did for the crosses (shown later)..........but I just never did get around to it, so I never have really displayed the buckles. In any event here is what you wanted to some extent.

Do you have a list of the Heer buckles that you have in your collection? Could you perhaps send me a list of the makers marks that you have so I can compare it to mine for comparison?

My son, who is almost 10, saw them for the first time when I laid them out to try to photograph for Ben......he was fascinated by them and had all kinds of questions. My daughter used to be very interested in my stuff when she was young too (she is 40 now).
