SA Officers Feldbinde

Hi guys, got this mint beauty today but now the question, is this a SA Feldbinde or is it political leader? It´s 44mm wide so it should be SA or not? Length is 105cm and markings are RZM M5/111 (117???) all metal parts have golden finish. Buckle is marked RZM 36 and RZM M5/111 (117???)

What do you guys think about it? Could anyone here suggest me a book about the SA uniforms and equipement?

Open face belt buckle

I'm thinking NSDAP rather than SA. Isn't this the buckle? Very nice rig regardless!

Mag, what you have is a pretty fine open claw SA set. Usually the claws with round corners are for the SA (like your), political leader should wear claws with squared corners. But contemporary photos show that this was many times mixed up.

The marking should be "M5/117", which is Berg & Nolte (=RZM 36).

By the way, it is for EM as well as for leaders.
