                Hello,

I was one of the two individuals that requested this buckle to be posted on this forum to be discussed. The two postings identified by Ric and Schorschi are the reasons I felt uncomfortable with the buckle being sold without properly identifying as a reproduction/fake.

For what it is worth, it is our responsibility as forum members to ensure we identify and inform people, like yourselves, on buckles/belts/brocades for a multitude of reasons, so you can take the forum members advice or continue to dispute the findings. IMO, you will not find a more rounded, a more competent group of individuals who know the history of TR buckles than the individuals here who discuss these items on a daily basis.

                Regards,

                Dan

Hello If the buckle was original, putting it on the buckle forum first would have let you know the buckle worth 2000-3000 dollars or more. Someone would have gotten a bargan at 300 euros, if it was real. Kirby
