Claw buckle with markings

Read an older post and just wanted to make sure I understood it as I am new to collecting belts. Comment was made that silver pebbled square Officers Claw Buckles never had a RZM marking on it or an A for Assman.

Did I understand that correctly?

You probably missunderstood something. There are many open claws with RZM and/or Assmann marking.
