    Old German Trade Buckles

Do any of you guys know about these buckles?

I know it is way off topic for the WWII stuff but I bought a small collection (about 15 buckles) from a German collector several years ago.

They are trade buckles, any more info on them? I was told by another collector they are on the cover of a European publication of buckles?

    Thanks for the help.

Hello, These buckles are pictured in the Catella buckle-book page 96. They all date from the period 1850 / 1900. I belive the above pictured buckles are from my colection. I sold them 3/4 years ago.....

            Hello Mark,

you should maybe take a look to this old thread:

            http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...ad.php?t=53766

I know the buckle on the photo is not the same as yours, but it is similar.
