"Black" Army Buckle

Dear All,

I have a "black" Army buckle and am not sure if it really is black or a very dark grey that comes across as black. What do you think?

Reverse:

It's not black...it's very dark-grey/blue.
Put a strong light spot on the buckle and you can see that's not black.
A lot of makers used at the end of the war the dark blue colour also the maker of your buckle IMO Noelle & Hueck Lüdenscheid.
