Hello Guys A nice buckle Ric. It might be the shot but your doesn't seem to be a as gold as the one in Evans book. I know a lot of buckles in that book have been repainted and refinished. I've never come across a gold one but does your look more like the one in his book in real life?

A far as the value. I saw one of these at the SOS last month. It was the first one I had seen for sale in years. The dealer only wanted $450 and I would of snapped it up, if I didn't already have one. Someone else bought it early thursday. I would say it's $500-$800 buckle. Kirby
