Unissued DAK buckle with leather tab

Hello, I mosltyl collect medals and headgear and came with a bunch of other items I picked up, so Im asking for help on this buckle, is it a good one or a repro... thanks for any help.

this is classic army buckle.. - not tropical.. not DAK but HEER.. could be used on any front of 1942

Hi Van, you have cracking Heer buckle there, classic Sieper eagle, buckles dont get better than that if ever get bored with it, I know a place where it would look really nice

Yep,, been doing some trading, he has another heer buckle more to my liking, it has the classic "been there fought that battle" look to it...

I have the same buckle that came on an undyed leather belt, from a US vet that got it in North Africa.

Here's a nice comparision photograph of your RSS against one of my DAK buckles.

Initially I thought is had the same yellow/tan paint, but it is slightly darker. Still great buckle.
