by front pic I would say a good one, the flaw may be due to the catch spot welding.

Thanks guys! Yes, still some original paint left. This is a pretty sad story. The buckle came together with the cammo uniform I have on the e-stand. A good friend of mine got it straight from the vet. When he came to pick it all up the vet said, well, I cleaned the the rust a little bit up for you. The cool thing is that the paint is only on the front side, so it was probably field painted... now it's all gone
