Hello, is this a good KM buckle, if so, is it officer or nco???? Thanks for any help.
It measure right around 1 1/2 inches.

It's a naval buckle (Kriegsmarine)
In the Kriegsmarine it was weared by officers from the rank of a Chief petty Officer to Fleet Admiral.

The mark 88 stands for the waist of the brocade belt.
