reference books on german buckles

I apologize if a similar thread was already opened before, I'm at work and cannot extensively search the forum.
I would need some advise to purchase a good and reliable book on german buckles , in german or english. There are some currently available, but i would rather not waste my money on cheap or unreliable material.
I spotted recently one kind of catalog entitled "Deutsche Koppelschlosser" which sells relatively cheap (approx 20 euro), but i didnt have the chance to look at the inside. What I'm after is something similar to Jean Hoydal's book on Erkennungsmarken but related to german buckles.
I'm not a dedicated collector, but i do like to have good documentation in case of need

Depending on what you need, I always go by Peter Nash's book and Angolia revised edition, you cannot go wrong with them two (if you are going to start collecting buckles)

Actually i do collect german militaria in general and from time to time i do find also buckles. I would like a good reference book with full markings details, producer list, good quality pics and details (types of hooks,etc).
Both the books you mention are available here, costing approx 60 euros each. I would like to choose one , to start. Which one you'd suggest?

I've spotted another text in german, entitled Deutsche Koppelschlosser 1919-1945. anyone knows it?

I am mainly interested in ww2 buckles,though

If you are buying just one I would go for the Angolia, but Peter Nash'sbook is also very good. The German one I have never seen

save your money, it's probably the worse book published in the last 7 years

There are a number of excellent to poor reference books on German buckles that one should have in their library. Anyone who is serious about the hobby needs to have all or at least some of the better ones . I will list what I believe to be the books that are available or should at least be sought after. 1. John Angolia "Belt Buckles and Brocades" 1st and 2nd editions.2. Thomas Reid " German Belt Buckles". 3. Francis Catella " Gott Mitt Uns" In French and tough to find but great photos and info. 4. J. Bandau/Patzwall " Deutches Koppleschlosser 1800-1945" In German but again lots of photos and info. 5. Terrence Baldwin, " German Waist Belts" Published in 1981 and hard to find, but good info and photos. 6. Peter Nash "German Belt Buckles 1847-1945" EM buckles only and forget the prices shown, they are all BS.
7. Bob Evans "Third Reich Belt buckles" Lots of bad and repainted buckles but still some interesting buckles.
I have all of these, plus some others in my library.
