    Varient Buckles

Hi All, I been wondering about these buckles for quiet some time. I have seen only four in my ten or so years collecting. I managed to get two of them. I missed a deaths head one. There are all marked JFS and the dash is correctly placed. I thought at the first they were post was but now I'm not sure.

If you have any infotmation on these let me know. ( David, Rick, Mark, anyone )
    Thanks, Doug

My apologies for wading in a trifle late on this one.

As others have so rightly confirmed, a fantasy rather than a fake buckle. Remarkably good quality in my opinion and of course, marked Dr. F & Co. (not JFS).

Actually, I have never seen the FAD roundel type before.

Excellent reference link provided by Sven.

              Regards,

              David
