    David,
I too heard of the orphan theory and can only interpret that this must have been discussed and surmised over a few to many pints. This buckle in hindsight is rather pleasing to debate and in doing so does allow one to provide their perspective of it's place in the Third Reich during the volatile times of Uniform enactments.

Kirby - another outstanding and pristine example from your collection. Thanks for sharing.

Guymauve - very nice photo. If you don't mind I will see if I can enhance this photo.

    Regards,

    Dan

Hi, no problem to me Dan.
I remember I shows this pic to you on WA...
      Here was it

My opinion is that this bucke style was for NSFK-SA-NSKK Ausbildungswesen (schools) and not so uncommon that every men says. Here in France I saw many of that but too expensive for my little purse...
Quand cessera donc cette mauvaise plaisanterie?
      Cheers

I absolutely agree about the SA/NSKK-Ausbildungswesen (that's what I try to tell since years now), but I can't agree about the NSFK. This buckle was never worn by the NSFK.
