Hello The buckle Don posted looks like a aged version of the fake thats been around for a few years. It looks like someone done some work on the prongs. Manions been running that same buckle for at least six month. It was $300 now it down to $150.

David,
the different configuration I was talking about is the second buckle you have shown on this thread. The same eagle but slightly different design and placement on the wreath. Marc has also shown this same buckle.

Great to see the single piece example of the "first" buckle and sorry if I am appearing to be a pedant on the buckle that Don originally posted. I still think that the buckle design is a fantasy, however I wonder why someone should churn these damn things out. Why produce a fake without any provenance? I thought or rather hoped that perhaps, a close similarity design was known, as I feel that the fantasy design is perfectly plausible.
