    Authentic SS-buckle?

    Hello everyone,

this is actually my first post in the B&B forum and as you can see from my avatar, this is not my collecting field, so forgive my ignorance, if this buckle, i will show you, is an obvious fake.

It looks like this buckle was rusted and the obverse rust has been removed, the reverse has been left like it was. No markings are visible and it looks like it is steel.

Is it possible to form an opinion from this fotos?

    Thanks in advance

        Hello Gerd,

welcome to this Forum, I hope you will appreciate it.
The buckle you posted is a well known fake artificially rusted to simulate a ground dug item.

        Best

Rik and Ben, thank you both. No damage here, as was 5 Euro only.

            Thanks again
