EM Belt Questions

Hello,

I have just received my newly purchased belt and was curious about the marking on the hook. It looks like OLC in a diamond. I don't believe I have seen many belts with this type of mark. Does anyone know what that mark means and who would wear this type of belt and when? The belt also has a stamp on the belt itself, but I don't believe it is legible.

Hi Tom,it is quite common, the maker is Overhoff & Cie, very big buckle making firm, steel components and leather works
