I am wanting to sell this buckle on e-stand. What is its value in this condition? I really have nothing in it, it came with a bunch of insignia many years ago.

your buckle is for sure an original one by nickel, probably ground dug.
About a fair value lets wait for members opinion....

Hi Ric,
The buckle is not ground dug. It was obtained over 25 years ago from a veteran and a many of the items were ruined from being in a box that was exsposed to water. This buckle was wrapped up in a party flag that was mildewed and rotted.

I actually collect buckles and this is the only one for sale.

The buckle appears to have been painted green. There are Railway buckles that were originally painted an OD green. So this is, I strongly believe, a good bucklewith little wear to the buckle body and with just the paint mostly gone from the front. Have you ever tried to clean the buckle? you might try using just soap and water and see if it does not clean up an bit. To bad about the prongs.
