Hello Guys This is a Mining Association Belt and buckle with th 70x120 mm brass buckle. What is unusual is this leather half circle that protects the rear.

Yes Kirby, that's a so called "Arschleder" (=ass leather). This was made to protect the cloth of the miners at the ....
Later miners just wore it as a tradition on parades. Many times they come decorated.
