    MINT Tropical Heer Buckle

    Hello,

Thought I'd share my newest acquision just before Christmas. A very MINTY Tropical Heer belt and buckle that was indirectly aquired from a veteran's family.

The buckle is in excellent shape and appears to be unmarked. To me, the finish looks like a factory yellow/tan which I believe is quite scarce especially if factory applied or at least that's what I've read in Peter Nash's book. Anyhow I Have not seen too many tropical buckles with this type of finish.

Any opinions or added information would be appreciated. Many thanks.

    Steve

Hi Steve, nice buckle, a better pic in natural light of the eagle would be good, I think it may be a Noelle & Hueck or even a H Arld, but I would need to see the eagle better

Thanks Ben. Yes my photography skills are less than desireable. I will try and take better pictures.

She's a looker alright, hard to see anyone upgrading that buckle & buckle. From pic 1 it appears the paint is 100% intact.

Steve, if I was a betting man I would say it made by Noelle & Hueck but not 100%

                            Hallo Steve,

                            a very interesting buckle
It was probably made by Haarmann : that firma generally used for tropical buckles (WH & LW) a sort of apple green paint, also olive green tropical buckles are known, this is the first one tan painted I observe .

                            Best

Here's a WH tropical by Haarmann olive green painted with scarce web tab variation.
