    Der Stahlhelm - field grey and Imperial style box

    A slightly unusual "Der Stahlhelm".

    The design being well known and documented.

    The interest though being the field grey painted finish and the distinct, late Imperial or early Weimar type box.

    All steel.

      Others within the "family".

      The roundel design would appear to be consistent, however the roundel finish, together with the box (reverse) construction and the box finish, as decidedly mixed.

                      nice buckle david ! I have always liked the stalhelm buckles , and I dont see many for sale here in the US..are they more common in UK? Chad
