Mid-late war combat belt?

Wondering if I could get some opinions on this belt. No size markings that I can see, just an RB number.

leather itself looks OK .. I like the markings...

but - I would not buy it if I was offered this belt - reason: stiching by the hook looks redone... also prong holes are unusually big... Last thing - leather looks like it was treated with some cream etc....

it seams belt was repaired ? .. upgraded ?.. messed with.... IMHO

there is lot of this "M43" belts around - I would wait for better one...

I would say that the hook is ok but i dont belive in the belt.
I think it looks like it had been "ageed"
Its very hard too say if you dont have it in your hand.
