Definitely a youth organization buckle, be it HJ or NSDAP, it was first manufactured in 1929. Does anyone have photos of this being worn? These are supposedly rare so I am curious as to how many are out there as I have a very minty gold but not the silver. Please post your buckle of this type if you have one.

      Regards,
      Dan

Odd, however I have never thought of the circular buckles shown here as specifically NSDAP. Instead, female costume jewellery from the 1920's or 1930's, which just happened to display a swastika.

No direct NSDAP and no direct HJ association, although they may have been conveniently and casually adopted by some !

The swastika of course being a well adopted "good luck" and "decorative" symbol, prior to the official adoption by the NSDAP.

            Regards,

            David
