My apologies for wading in a tad late on this one.

I agree with all - a perfectly original Police buckle.

The reason for the response is due to your comment about the buckle being magnetic, as probably steel. I think we all tend to generally associate the two piece buckles, as aluminium.

I have seen your buckle type with both a silver and gold paint applied finish, however the most interesting aspect is the roundel. I have known this roundel as both steel (magnetic) and zinc (non magnetic). Interesting.

The Police buckle per se and in my opinion, being an often ignored and little researched group.
