Freikorp Sudetenland or N.S.D.A.P. ?

This is of course a well known buckle and seen with both a brass box and a nickle silver or nickle on brass box. It also appears in at least one period catalogue.

The question is - what is it ?

Freikorp Sudetenland, Sudeten Deutsche Partei, or quite simply, a non specific NSDAP supporters buckle ?

My thoughts are to the latter.

An unattributed buckle that I believe, as you do, a private purchase for supporters/sympathizers. Yours is more appealing because of the static swastika as opposed to the more common rotated. A handsome buckle none the less and tough to get a hold of that is maker marked as yours. A very nice buckle.
