A jolly pleasant SA.

Actually, not an overly common design of eagle. A very distinct style of eagles head and a roundel that I recognise by the slightly eccentric ridge, where the top of the right wing (looking on), meets the body of the eagle.

Good to see this one with a nickle silver roundel.

As a matter of interest, here is the "same" buckle, although as a one piece brass stamping. The same eagle design and the employment of a slightly odd, wide and brazed on catch.
