Here's a very nice steel police buckle burnished in black.

The buckle looks original to me, but I would like opinions before I make an attempt to pry it from its current owner's grasp

Hallo Steve,

it's the first one steel made I observe : could you post some close-up of the ears and of the catch feet ?
Anyway I would say the box is without doubt original, you have to verify if it's not a Schupo buckle post war black repainted.
