    Gustav Brehmer Markings

Hi guys, just been playing with my buckles (isnt that what everyone does on a Sunday morning!) and noticed on one of my DAK's something that I had not seen. Under the roller bar it is dated 40, and with the eagle the buckle is definitley GB. However on closer inspection I have found the interwined GB under the roller bar. On every other example I have seen it has been near the prongs! My other GB DAK is marked near the prongs. Has anyone else come across this or got any other GB buckles with this same markings? If so could you post pics please?

              Hi Ben

IMO the mm near the hook catch is the most seen variation.
Never obseved the GB mark under the roller bar. Nice example your '40 dated GB buckle.

              Regards,
              Guido

By the way, tropical buckles 1940 dated are scarce since the production developped mainly in 1941/42.
