    Couple of new ones

Hi guys, had a couple of new ones in so just thought I would share them with you. They were wrestled from the strong grasp of Dan (KC1) So many thanks on my part to Dan First one up is a Officers Heer Brocade. I have never owned a Officers buckle but seeing though I am trying to collect only Heer buckles I thought it would be a good idea to have at least one, and a nice one it is

Second one is a Heer enlisted buckle by Matthias Salcher & Sohne from Wagstadt dated 1940. What I find interesting with this one is that the makers stamp has been punched on the opposite side of the leather, totally original to the buckle, same maker just probably a factory mistake

                        Love your new buckles Ben!

But I don't think that the Matthias Salcher firm has done a factory mistake!
I have observed the same unusual detail with the stamping on several pieces!
It seems to be normal to this firm.

                        Regards,
                        Guido

Thanks Guido for that info, this is the first MSS buckle I have owned so thats why I have never encountered this before. I know of a D&C Coastal Buckle on one of the sites that has the same, the buckle is great and mint but to much for me My wife would kill me
