    SS Buckle O&C Gesch.

I posted this on the SS forum first, but I decided this might be a better place to post this buckle. I aquired this buckle at a local antique store. The owner of the store told me his picker said it was a Hitler youth buckle. I did not bother to correct him. For the little money I had to give, I felt it was worth a gamble. Please let me know what you think. Regards, Jay

Initially it looks ok but I would like to see better pics of the front and the makers mark.

Other than the prongs being bent, I can't see much wrong with it. This looks to me to be an original nickel Overhoff .

                    Thanks!

Thanks, Ben, Dan and Infanteer. I was hoping that it was a good one. As I said I don't collect SS so I may be putting it on the stand. What would be a fair price to ask? Thank you and regards, Jay

Let's see... You paid for essentially a HJ buckle so if you sell to me I will ensure you get a profit for what you paid for the buckle.

Well...the prongs are bent and bending them back will probably break them, at any rate I get 475 for examples on my website with un-bent prongs and I have seen others ask 550 to 600 but they sit longer at the high levels...

Oh, and I concur it is a textbook original
