    Combat buckle opinion

    Hi everyone,

I´ve got this buckle which I think is made of steel or maybe iron, I don´t really know. It has some markings (G I D 1943) Can´t read much, the rust covers most of the marking.

Any opinion about the buckle and the makers mark?

    Thanks in advance.
    Adolph.

Thanks Ben for your quick replay.
The CTD 1943 markings in my buckle look a bit different from yours. The space between the letters is bigger, or at less is what it looks to me anyway.

Thanks once again for your comments.

            Best regards,
            Adolph.

I agree with both Ben and Michael! This is a good CTD buckle.
