Some very nice buckles and brocades! Is it possible to get a full reverse image with prongs facing inwards on you left facing Heer buckle? I am actively studying and documenting this particular type of 40mm Heer buckle and am amazed that three of these identical buckles in mint condition have been found by Forum members in as many months.

I would be pleased to post some more photos. I can tell you that I do not have a letter of authenticity but the individual I received this from is probably the most prolific collector and author of TR buckles of our times. Right or wrong, this alone provides me the necessary assurances of authenticity.

Hi Dan,

Thanks for the additional shots of the reverse! My only guess is that because three of these have surfaced in just the last several months and have the blessings of respected Forum members here, that a cache of early, unissued, minty and I might add, quite rare left facing 40mm Heer buckles has been uncovered somewhere? They are a pretty buckle, that's for sure! Once again, thanks for the additional shots! I'll certainly keep you posted if a 4th and 5th surface in the near future.
