Aluminium Parade buckle

Hi everyone,

I have what I guess is a parade buckle made of aluminium. Any opinion about it?
I´ve read somewhere that this type of buckles where very cheap those days and where only for parade porpouse. Is this correct?

nice buckle..perfectly fine and original, and yes this is a dress/parade buckle.. I havent collected Heer buckles in a while but if I remember correctly, even though this is unmarked, it looks like an Overhoff made buckle.. Chad

as confirmed by Chad, this kind of buckle was intended for parade purpose and yours is an original one.
